What the 28 days is counting
The clock starts the moment water enters the vial. Not the first draw, not the first stopper puncture. If a mixed vial sits untouched at the back of a fridge for a week, that week is spent.
The window is a handling convention for multi-dose vials, set by the preservative in bacteriostatic water rather than by anything specific to GHRP-2. The preservative is intended to suppress microbial growth across repeated punctures, and 28 days is the period convention treats as reasonable for that under refrigeration.
So the number answers a contamination-control question, not a chemistry question. It does not say the peptide is intact on day 27 and gone on day 29. It says nothing about how much active compound remains, because that would require assaying your specific vial.
Why warmth costs so much
The refrigerated and room temperature rows in the table above are the comparison worth staring at. Same vial, same water, same preservative. Only temperature changes, and the window collapses from weeks to days.
